1. Through a compilation of taken photos, AI-generated elements and found visuals, a cyborg in the heat is a photobook containing the artist’s musings as a traveler in one of Southeast Asia’s most urbanised cities. The photobook transcends photography, delving into the rapid gentrification, offering a critical examination of how it affects both the physical landscape and people. At the heart of the work lies the concept of the cyborg—non-gendered and deracialised body—as a powerful conduit and tool for decolonization. By embodying the cyborg, the artist questions the imposed narratives of progress that often accompany gentrification, proposing instead a reimagining of identity and resistance through the lens of hybridity.

2. Last Flame is an experimental documentary of the Chao Mae Thapthim Shrine Saphan Lueang, a Mazu Shrine located along Chulalongkorn. Flanked on either side by towering construction sites, the shrine stands as a quiet but potent symbol of resistance against the forces of gentrification, existing defiantly on its own terms. The building dates back to the 70s, and has been a spiritual anchor for the local Thai-Chinese community.

As Bangkok undergoes rapid urbanization, this bastion of heritage and faith faces the possibility of being demolished. Last Flame documents the shrine's enduring presence, while raising urgent questions about preserving cultural identity in the face of modernization.
